• Authorization & Right to Operate: The undersigned customer hereby authorizes Q-MECH to perform the services described above. The owner must be able to provide proof upon request that the vehicle that is being serviced is in their ownership. If the booking is being completed on another’s behalf, another work authorization must be completed by the owner of the vehicle. Additionally, the customer grants access to personal utilities and permission to operate the vehicle for purposes of testing, inspection and completion of the service at the customer's sole risk.
• Payment Terms: When booking an appointment with Q-MECH, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be due to secure the appointment and cover general service fees. Payment of the remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of services. Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit/debit card, or electronic transfer. The customer agrees to pay for the cost of parts and materials if Q-MECH is handling the purchasing of the required parts and materials.
• Limitation of Liability & Unforeseen Damages: Q-MECH assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to the vehicle or articles left in the vehicle in case of fire, theft, accident, or any other cause beyond their control. During operations, old or brittle components (such as plastic fittings, rusted bolts, or aged hoses) may fail during standard removal procedures; Q-MECH is not liable for these unforeseen structural failures. Additionally, Q-MECH will not be responsible for pre-existing conditions, pre-existing rust, failures of used or new replacement parts, or fluid stains on the customer’s driveway. In the event that the service completed to your vehicle does not resolve the original issue or that further service is needed to resolve any remaining issues, another appointment can be arranged. If additional service is declined, Q-MECH will not be held responsible for the state the vehicle was left in or any damages accrued afterwards due to an incomplete service.
• Service Site and Environment: Mobile repair work is highly dependent on safe environmental and weather conditions. The customer agrees to provide a safe, level surface (such as a driveway or parking lot) away from active traffic for the work to be completed safely. If a vehicle is serviced in a public or shared space, the customer accepts full responsibility for any local compliance, towing risks, or fines related to the vehicle's placement before, during, or after service.
• Cancelations: If an appointment is canceled by the customer, or the mechanic is unable to find or contact the customer during the scheduled service time, then the appointment will be canceled. The mechanic has the right to cancel the appointment at any time if the service site or environment is hazardous or restricts serviceability. If the service is canceled for any of the above reasons, the appointment may be rescheduled at Q-MECH’s discretion.
